Incident at 3700 Watonga # 1815 August 29, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3700 Watonga #1815 about 11 p.m. on Tuesday (Aug. 28). The identity of the victim, in his 50s, is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L.A. Flores and Officer R. Carstens reported: Officers responded to a shooting call at the Indian Springs Apartments and saw the victim lying on the dining room floor of an apartment. Witnesses reported hearing two to three loud noises and seeing a white or Hispanic male with short hair leaving the apartment and walking towards the parking lot.
