Traffic Incident at 4100 Almeda Genoa December 22, 2007 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 4100 Almeda Genoa about 7 a.m. today (Dec. 22). The identity of the deceased female victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Officer O.D. Lewis reported: The victim was driving a gold Chevrolet Cavalier westbound on Almeda Genoa at a high rate of speed when she failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway. The vehicle struck a utility pole and came to rest against a sign pole. No other vehicles were involved.
