Incident at 800 Prosper December 24, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 800 Prosper about 8 a.m. on Sunday (Dec. 23). The victim, Roderick Metcalf, 32, of 782 Prosper, suffered unknown injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant P.C. Motard and Officer C. Abbondandolo reported: Officers responded to 800 Prosper after a citizen reported seeing Mr. Metcalf lying in a ditch. When officers arrived, they found Metcalf deceased. There were no obvious signs of trauma to Metcalf’s body but he had blood on his face and nose. Metcalf’s cell phone and keys were found in the ditch between he and his residence.
