Incident at 16375 Angel Island Lane July 9, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting/suicide of a couple at 16375 Angel Island Lane around 10:40 p.m. on Sunday (July 8). The identities of both victims are being withheld pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C.W. Howard and Officer J. Coffelt reported: Officers responded to a welfare check call at 16375 Angel Island Lane and upon entering the residence, discovered a male and female in the bedroom of the residence. Both victims suffered apparent gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene. Further investigation determined the male shot the female and then himself.
