Hpd Seeking Public’s Help In Locating A Missing Elderly Man

July 24, 2007 - Houston police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing elderly man whose last known location was in the area of the 10600 block of the Westpark Tollway about 9:40 a.m. today (July 24).

Sidney Evans, 66, is black, approximately 6 feet tall, weighs between 210 and 215 pounds and has salt and pepper short hair and a mustache. He was wearing dress slacks and a short-sleeved shirt of an unknown color. He was last seen driving a 1998 four-door white Lexus LS400 with Texas license plate number 476JBH in the area of the 10600 block of the Westpark Tollway.

Mr. Evans was speaking to his wife on the phone and stated he was feeling disoriented and that she needed to come get him; however, he could not provide his exact location. Mrs. Evans stated her husband is diabetic and recently began a new medication that leaves him disoriented.

Anyone who may have seen a male fitting Mr. Evans’ description or his vehicle is urged to contact the HPD Missing Persons Unit at 713-731-5223 or call 911.
