3rd Update on Incident at 12313 Bellaire #H June 1, 2007 - Charges have been filed against a fifth suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 12313 Bellaire #H about 11:55 p.m. on May 13, 2007. The victim, Jian Guo Wang, 54, of 9201 Clarewood #358, sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital. The fifth suspect, Luis Eduardo Rodriguez (H/m, DOB: 01-23-72), joins Christian Calderon (H/m, DOB: 2-10-90), Fernando Santacruz Gomez (H/m, DOB: 5-30-83), and Eric Gomez (H/m, DOB: 4-10-87) in being charged with capital murder in the 232nd State District Court. A female juvenile suspect has been referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities on the same charge. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Brooks, M.W. McStravick, C.W. Howard and Officers R. Chappell and M.F. Waters reported: Mr. Wang was working at the Kung Fu Club game room when the suspects entered the business with the intent to rob the patrons. Mr. Wang was involved in a confrontation and was shot by one of the suspects. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of money.
