Incident at 3815 Ranch May 26, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the death of a child at 3815 Ranch about 12:17 p.m. on Friday (May 25). The victim, a 5 year-old-child, sustained a gunshot wound to the face and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Cruz and Officer R. Cervantes reported: HPD officers and HFD personnel arrived at the scene and began treating the child with severe injury to the face. It was discovered once at the hospital that the child had sustained a gunshot wound to the face. At this time the circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
