Incident at 300 West 27th May 26, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 300 West 27th about 1:45 a.m. The victim’s identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStavick and Officer T. Andrade reported: Witnesses heard a gunshot and then observed the victim in a ditch in front of that location. HPD officers and HFD personnel were called out to the scene and the victim was pronounced dead. There is no known motive for this homicide at this time.
