Incident at 7710 Pointer May 28, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7710 Pointer about 2 a.m. today (May 28). The victim, George Martin Walker, 38, of 7710 Pointer, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Sosa, Jr. and Officer T.A. Andrade reported: Mr. Walker walked out to his driveway and was shot by the suspect multiple times at close range. Witnesses said the suspect fled the location on foot but may have left in an unknown type of vehicle that was waiting for him further down the street. The suspect is described only as a black male.
