Incident at 5401 Rampart #130 November 1, 2007 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a baby following an incident at 5401 Rampart #130 about 12:05 a.m. today (Nov. 1). The infant, Eduardo Hernandez, six months of age, was pronounced dead at Texas Children’s Hospital. HPD Homicide Division Officers B.D. Evans and R. Trevino reported: The baby’s mother said she went to her bedroom to check on her son as he slept on a full size bed. At that time, she found the baby positioned between the bed and a portable crib next to the bed. The baby was unconscious and unresponsive. Paramedics were called and transported the child to the hospital. There were no signs of foul play found at the scene. The investigation is continuing.
