Incident at 2926 Plum Creek November 10, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2926 Plum Creek about 11:50 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 9). The victim, Oscar M. Martinez, 43, of 2926 Plum Creek #65 suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Sosa and Officer J. Robles reported: Mr. Martinez drove into his apartment complex and was approached by an unknown suspect as Martinez sat inside of his vehicle. The suspect produced a handgun and fired several times through the driver's side window, striking Martinez multiple times. Investigators believe someone else may have been in the vehicle with Martinez at the time of the shooting. The suspect is believed to have fled in another vehicle.
