Incident at 12600 Ashford Meadow November 18, 2007 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a woman at 12600 Ashford Meadow about 12:25 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 17). The suspect, Ronald Renfroe (b/m, DOB 9/12/79), is charged with murder in the 230th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Samantha Taylor, 39, of 12619 Ashford Meadow #B. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.R. McGalin and Officer D.W. Arnold reported: Ms. Taylor was attempting to break up an argument between her husband and Renfroe when the suspect (Renfroe) produced a handgun and shot at Taylor and her husband. Ms. Taylor was struck in the head and pronounced dead at the scene. Renfroe, who left the scene in a blue or gray Dodge Charger, may have fled to New Orleans following the shooting.
