Incident at 4800 Jackson November 22, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4800 Jackson on Wednesday (November 21) about 7:15 p.m. The victim’s identity is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. He sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and abdomen and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant O. Chandler and Officer F. Mares reported: Witnesses stated that four unknown black males were seen walking the area between the area of 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. The witnesses then heard four to five gunshots and saw three people fleeing the scene.
