Incident at 6700 Ridgeway October 23, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in the 6700 block of Ridgeway about 12:10 a. m. today (October 23). The male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. Officers responded to a shooting call in the 6700 block of Ridgeway and observed the victim lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound to his face. HFD paramedics were called to scene however the victim did not survive his injuries. The suspect is described only as a black male.
