Incident at 12769 Nimitz #130 September 16, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man at 12769 Nimitz #130 about 10:40 a.m. Saturday (September 15). The victim’s identity is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. He sustained possible blunt trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Shorten and S. Straughter reported: The manager of the Normandy Inn Motel made entry into room #130 after the renter of that room was late in paying his room fee. Upon entry, the manager observed the victim lying on the bed with a plastic bag around his head.
