Traffic Incident at 9300 Wallisville Road September 29, 2007 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 9300 block of Wallisville Road about 7:30 a.m. today (September 29). The male victim’s identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant G. T. Hall and Officer C. E. Rooke reported: The victim was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle, westbound on Wallisville Road, at a high rate of speed, when he attempted to pass a trailer truck, also traveling west on Wallisville Road. The victim attempted to move into the right lane as the trailer truck also moved safely into the same lane. The motorcycle went up onto the sidewalk, lost control and crashed. The victim was thrown from the motorcycle and landed in front of the trailer truck, which then ran over him. The investigation is continuing. VHS |
