Suspect Arrested in Fatal Shooting at 3900 Noble

August 21, 2008 - A wanted suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man found in the 3900 block of Noble about 12:30 p.m. on Monday (August 18) has been arrested.

The suspect, Robert Taylor Williams (b/m, DOB: 7-7-71), is charged with murder in the 339th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Clifford Earl Miller, 32, of Houston. Mr. Miller suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. J. Brooks and Senior Police Officer M. F. Waters III reported:

Miller and Williams got into an argument and at some point, Miller was shot several times. He was found on the railroad tracks near the 3900 block of Noble.

Williams fled the scene on foot.

Further investigation developed information on Williams’ whereabouts and he was arrested in the 10800 block of Kipp Way on Wednesday (August 20) without incident.
