Investigation Into Male's Death at 1933 Scott #206

December 15, 2008 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 1933 Scott #206 about 8:05 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 13).

The victim, Stephen Lamont Wallace, 60, of San Antonio, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Officers M. A. Khan and T. T. Pool reported:

Mr. Wallace and his wife were inside their motel room at the Scott Inn and Suites Motel at 1933 Scott. Wallace’s wife then left to pay the motel bill, returned to the room and fell asleep. She later woke up and found Wallace lying on the bathroom floor, unresponsive. Wallace’s wife called 9-1-1 then attempted to revive her husband by pouring ice water on him, then performing CPR.

Wallace’s cause of death will be determined by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.
