Man Found Dead in Vehicle After Minor Traffic Accident February 4, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the death of man from unknown causes at 6407 Granite about 6:40 p.m. on Saturday (February 2). The victim, Christopher Steele Hoyt, of 2103 Hewitt, was found unconscious at the scene. The victim was transported to Spring Branch Hospital where he was pronounced dead from unknown causes/injuries. Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant D. Morgan and Officer E. McClendon reported: A tan Toyota Camry, driven by Mr. Hewitt, was traveling west in the 6400 block of Granite when it lost control, struck a curb and left the roadway. The vehicle ended up partially in the lawn of the residence at 6407 Granite. Officers reported that possible narcotics were found in the victim’s vehicle. The investigation is continuing.
