Traffic Fatality at 6300 South Loop South Wayside February 20, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 6300 block of the 610 South Loop near South Wayside about 2:40 a.m. today. The identities of the two deceased victims, a male in his 20s and a female in her 40s, are pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant D.S. Runyan and Officer S. Johnson reported: A male operating a motorcycle struck the rear of a pickup truck as both vehicles were westbound on the 610 South Loop. The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike. A few minutes later, a black Ford Expedition apparently struck the motorcyclist’s body, causing the female driver of the SUV to lose control of the vehicle. The SUV rolled over onto the service road and ejected the female. She and the motorcyclist were pronounced dead at the scene.
