Arrest in Fatal Shooting at 4002 Lockwood

February 25, 2008 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 4002 Lockwood about 3 a.m. on Friday (Feb. 22).

Jerrell Jerjuan Fultcher (b/m, DOB: 7-18-78) is charged with murder in the 209th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Adrian Jordan, 45.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer P.J. Guerrero and Officer T.A. Andrade reported:

Mr. Jordan exited the store at 4002 Lockwood and was confronted by Fultcher, who fired multiple times at Jordan and then fled. Jordan died at the scene.

During the course of the investigation, a witness was located and led to recovery of evidence and to the identity of Fultcher as the suspect. He was arrested later in the day at his residence at 5806 Pardee without incident.
