Traffic Incident at 3300 North Freeway January 05, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 3300 block of the North Freeway (Interstate 45 North) about 12:20 a.m. today (January 5). The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant D. Arnold and Officer A. Alaniz reported: The victim was driving a red Pontiac Sunfire south on the North Freeway near North Main when he lost control of his vehicle. The Pontiac went onto the grassy shoulder on the right side, hit several small trees and rolled at least once. The driver was ejected. The investigation is continuing.
