Traffic Incident at 17600 Westheimer Parkway January 07, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 17600 block of Westheimer Parkway about 1:45 a.m. today (January 7). The female victim, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant R. C. Gonzales and Officers D.C. Hall and J. Garcia reported: The victim was a passenger on a Harley Davidson motorcycle apparently traveling east in the westbound lanes of Westheimer Parkway when the driver of the motorcycle failed to stay in his lane and struck the median. Both the driver and the victim were thrown from the motorcycle. The driver was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital with unknown injuries.
