Surveillance Video Released in Child Indecency Case

July 3, 2008 - Investigators in the Houston Police Department Juvenile Sex Crimes Unit have released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in an indecency with a child investigation at 8100 South Gessner on the afternoon of April 26.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 40 to 50 years of age, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 220 pounds with short, salt-and-pepper hair. He has a mustache with a medium complexion. He was seen wearing a white shirt with a flower print, short black pants and tennis shoes. A DVD copy of the surveillance video is available for pick up at HPD Headquarters, 1200 Travis, 21st floor.

On April 26, the 11 year-old female victim was shopping with family members in the Marshall’s department store at 8100 South Gessner, when the suspect approached her and exposed himself.
The suspect then left the store in an unknown direction.
