Man Found Dead Investigation at 7200 Lockwood

July 22, 2008 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found in the 7200 block of Lockwood about 3:55 p.m. on Monday (July 21).

The victim, who showed no sign of physical trauma, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. D. Chandler and Senior Police Officer L. K. Lovelace reported:

The victim entered Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital for an apparent accidental head injury and after receiving partial treatment, left the hospital against medical advice. He was later found in a drainage ditch on the side of the road in the 7200 block of Lockwood.

An autopsy will be performed by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
