Investigation Into Baby’s Death at 8122 Rockford June 9, 2008 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a baby girl found unresponsive in her home at 8122 Rockford about 11:10 a.m. on Sunday (June 8). The victim, two months old, was transported to Texas Children’s Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her identity is being withheld pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. There were no visible injuries on the baby. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants T. Huynh and J. Padilla reported: The baby girl was under foster care of a married couple and their grown children. Paramedics were called to the home after the baby was found unresponsive. There were no signs of injury or foul play determined during the on-scene investigation. The investigation is continuing pending results of the autopsy. JFC/VHS |
