Fatal Shooting at 4011 Lumber

June 30, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal shooting at 4011 Lumber about 11:30 a.m. on Saturday (June 28).

The victim, Carlos Jerome Nash, 26, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.T. Parker and Senior Police Officer R.P. Martinez reported:

Mr. Nash was in front of the vacant house on Lumber when he was confronted by the suspect. At some point during the confrontation the suspect shot Nash. The suspect fled the scene and was last seen running west on Bennington.

The suspect is described only as a black male. He was wearing a black shirt and black short pants.
