Fatality Accident at 8300 Wilcrest March 27, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 8300 Wilcrest about 7:30 a.m. today (March 27). The victim’s identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant G.T. Hall and Officer D. Harwell reported: The victim was northbound on Wilcrest in an orange Chevrolet and drove off the roadway onto the median. The vehicle continued over the bayou and struck a drainage pipe, killing the driver. There are no witnesses at this time and it is possible the accident occurred during the night hours.
