Man Found Dead at 7425 Ashburn

May 06, 2008 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on a man found dead at 7425 Ashburn about 5:20 p.m. on Monday (May 5).

The victim, James Shine, 58, suffered a head injury and an unknown puncture wound to his torso.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant E. Lorenzana and Officer M. Khan reported:

Family members found Mr. Shine unresponsive in his home and called 911. Paramedics pronounced Shine dead at the scene.

The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine Shine’s cause of death.

An on-scene investigation found no forced entry to the home.
