Man Found Dead at 7500 Telephone Road

May 27, 2008 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found in the 7500 block of Telephone Road about 9:50 a.m. on Monday (May 26).

The victim, in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity and cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. C. Padilla and T. Huynh reported:

Officers responded to a call of a body lying in the grass in an open field in the 7500 block of Telephone Road, next to Hobby Airport. The deceased victim was wearing a red sweatshirt and black jogging pants.

There were no signs of trauma to the victim or any evidence of foul play.

The investigation is continuing.
