Fatal Shooting at 12307 South Drive

October 2, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12307 South Drive about 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday (October 1).

The victim, Juan Gutierrez, 24, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. L. Semmelrock and Officer J. E. Rodriguez reported:

Mr. Gutierrez was last seen in the garage of his residence by his father, who then left the residence for about two hours. Witnesses then reported hearing several gunshots in the area and saw 4 to 5 Hispanic males flee south on Cook Road in a green van, possibly of American make and model. Gutierrez’s father then returned home, found him unresponsive and called police and ambulance personnel.
