Investigation Into Woman's Death at 3603 Maury October 24, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the death of a woman found at 3603 Maury about 10:15 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 23). The victim, Fannie Mae Fisher, 85, of Houston, suffered severe head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Dillingham and Officers J. Barringer and D. Gunter reported: Patrol officers were dispatched to a home invasion call at 3603 Maury and found the victim in her bed with head injuries and a chord around her neck. The bedroom had been ransacked.
