Baby Death Investigation at 9313 Tallyho

October 28, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the death of a infant at 9313 Tallyho about 3:15 p.m. on Monday (Oct. 27).

The victim, Conar Matthew Rose, 23 months of age, was found unresponsive and was transported to Memorial Hermann Southeast where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant Robert Torres and Senior Police Officer S. J. Anderson reported:

Baby Conar was left unattended for a short while and wandered out an open front apartment door and into the swimming pool area. Although the area was completely fenced, there were several gaps wide enough for a child to walk through. It is believed baby Conar walked through one of the gaps and accidentally fell into the pool. A short time later, the child was found unresponsive and HFD paramedics were called.

No charges have been filed at this time.
