Investigation Into Woman's Death at 12236 Ormandy

April 21, 2009 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 12236 Ormandy about 1:30 p.m. on Monday (Apr. 20).

The victim, Anjanette Ademosu Robinson, 25, of Houston, suffered severe burns and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Police Officers J. Rodriguez and E. Schmidt reported:

Ms. Robinson was at home when a fire started inside the apartment.  According to Houston Fire Department investigators at the scene, the fire did not appear to be suspicious in nature and it is believed foul play is not involved.  The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine Robinson’s cause of death.

The investigation is continuing.
