Investigation into Death at 5838 Hirondel

August 3, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man at 5838 Hirondel about 11:55 p.m. Sunday (August 2).  

The victim, Lewis Holiday, 41, of the above address, suffered trauma to his head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants W. Meeler and T. Griffin reported: 

Mr. Holiday was found deceased in his apartment by his girlfriend.  He was struck in the head several times with an axe.
