Fatal Shooting at 12654 Ashford Meadow

August 17, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12654 Ashford Meadow about 4:30 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 16).

The victim, Rayford Steven Busch Jr., 24, of the above address suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R.D. Chandler and Senior Police Officer L.K. Lovelace reported:

Mr. Busch was sitting in the apartment complex parking lot on Ashford Meadow when he was approached by an unknown suspect who shot at him. Mr. Busch was struck in the chest and leg and attempted to flee the scene. He fell to the ground a short distance away and died at the scene.
