Man Found Dead at 7625 Katy Freeway

December 7, 2009 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man at 7625 Katy Freeway (Interstate Highway 10 West) about 1 a.m. on Sunday (Dec. 6).

The victim, 30, appeared to have fallen from the roof of the hotel at the above address. The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine his identification and cause of death.

HPD Homicide Division Police Officers J. Harvey and K. Lopez reported:

Three adults were at a Christmas party and had been drinking before arriving at the hotel. Once at the hotel, the three gained access to the roof through a door marked “employees only.” The three were climbing onto a ledge when the victim fell to his death. There were no signs of a struggle or foul play. Further investigation is pending the results of the autopsy.
