An off-duty U.S. Customs agent was making a purchase inside of a liquor store at 12901 Queensbury when a suspect came into the store with a firearm and ordered everyone to get on the ground.  The agent pulled out his weapon and ordered the suspect to drop his weapon.  The suspect ignored the order and pointed his weapon at the agent.  Fearing for his life, the agent fired his weapon and struck the suspect at least once.  A second male suspect then entered the store, fired at the agent through the doorway and then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
