HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D.S. Runyan and Officer J. Lin reported:

The victim, believed to be homeless, was scuffling with another person at a bus stop, possibly because of some food the other person had.  When the victim could not get the food, he made a statement indicating he would let a bus run over him and then proceeded to lie in the street.  A short time later, a Metro bus traveling down the street ran over him.  The bus driver stated she did not see the man.

The male was pronounced dead at the scene, the result of a possible suicide.
