Woman Found Fatally Stabbed at 1776 Gessner #1803

January 5, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a woman found in her residence at 1776 Gessner #1803 about 9:10 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 3). 

The victim, Veronica Olivia Aguilar, 40, suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W.P. Booth and Senior Police Officer A. D. Brown reported: 

Ms. Aguilar's daughter became concerned when she could not contact her mother.  When the daughter went to her mom's apartment to check on her, she found her mother deceased on the floor of the master bathroom.   

It was later determined Aguilar had sustained multiple stab wounds to her torso. 

At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects in this incident.
