Investigation into Infant's Death at 1001 Pinemont #26

January 6, 2008 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of an infant at 1001 Pinemont #26 about 7 a.m. today (Jan. 6).

Four-month-old Tashone Mills had no apparent wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. R. McGalin and Senior Police Officer D. W. Arnold reported:

Baby Tashone was found in his crib, deceased, by his mother. It is believed the infant had a prior medical condition. The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of baby Tashone’s death.

There were no visible signs of trauma to the baby.  The investigation continues and is pending the medical examiner’s ruling on the child’s cause of death.
