Fatal Shooting at 9001 South Braeswood

January 16, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9001 South Braeswood about 4:55 p.m. on Thursday (Jan. 15).

The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Bush and Senior Police Officer J. Coffelt reported:

Patrol officers responded to a shooting call at 9001 South Braeswood after witnesses reported hearing several gunshots coming from the apartment complex parking lot. The victim was found deceased in the parking lot.

The suspects, described only as two black males between 18 and 24 years of age, fled the scene on foot. One was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and the other a black hooded sweatshirt.
