HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Parker and Senior Police Officer S. Straughter reported:

Patrol officers responded to a shooting call at 6015 HIllcroft and found the victim had been shot and taken to the hospital.  An investigation determined the female was known only as “Laura” and had been shot by a male known as “Ruben,” who fled the scene following the shooting in a red or maroon Chevrolet Avalanche.  The Avalanche was later recovered in the 6000 block of Gulfton and further investigation developed information on the identity of the shooter as Ruben Ponce Perdomo.  An autopsy performed by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office positively identified “Laura” as Ms. Alor.

Anyone with information on this case or on the whereabouts of Ruben Ponce Perdomo is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
