Update: Charges Filed in Connection with the Death of a Woman at 3930 Swingle

May 4, 2009 - Charges have been filed against three people in connection with the death of a Houston woman found at 3930 Swingle on April 25, 2009.

The female victim, Shyesha Leticia Taylor, 18, of Houston, was identified through fingerprints.  Ms. Taylor’s cause of death is pending a ruling by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. 

The suspects Cory Marquis Dixon (b/m, DOB: 1/05/1987), Brandi Bonilla-Torres (b/f, DOB: 8/23/1990), and Gabriella Marie Dunson (b/f, DOB: 9/19/1990) are charged with tampering with evidence - human corpse.  Bonilla-Torres and Dunson are charged in the 178th State District Court, Dixon is charged in the 232nd State District Court.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J.C. Padilla and M. Dillingham reported:

Taylor was last seen with Dunson on April 21.  Dunson told investigators that Taylor had spent the night with Torres and Dixon and that in the morning Taylor was found to be unresponsive.  HPD investigators learned that Taylor had ingested a controlled substance and drank a large amount of alcohol. 

Dixon, Torres, and Dunson told investigators that they did not call the police, but transported Taylor’s body across town where they disposed of it.
