Fatal Traffic Accident at 14900 Fondren

May 26, 2009 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 14900 Fondren about 1:50 a.m. on Sunday (May 24).

The male victim, Marcus Dyrome Smith, 38, of Missouri City, died at the scene.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Morgan and Officer R. Davidson reported:

Three motorcycle riders were traveling north on Fondren when Mr. Smith changed lanes while attempting to pass a vehicle on the right side.  Smith struck the curb, lost control, and was thrown from his motorcycle.  He died at the scene.
