Investigation Into Fatal Accident at 13300 South Freeway

October 5 , 2009 - A man critically injured in a traffic accident at 13300 South Freeway (State Highway 288 South) about 2:10 a.m. on Sept. 25th has died from his injuries.

The victim, Craig Bates, 39, of Houston, was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital on Saturday (Oct. 3).

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Morgan and Officer D. Hall reported:

Mr. Bates was driving southbound on Highway 288 when his gray Toyota Camry left the highway and crashed below onto Almeda Genoa Road.
