Composite Sketch Released in Sexual Assault Investigation

October 22, 2009 - Investigators in the Houston Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect believed responsible for at lease three sexual assault incidents in the southwest Houston area.

The suspect is described only as a black male in his 20s to early 40s, 6 feet tall and about 200 to 240 pounds. A composite sketch of the wanted suspect is attached to this news release.

Suspect Unknown  

The incidents occurred at apartments at the following locations:

• 8300 El Mundo - about 2:55 a.m. on June 6
• 1800 El Paseo - about 4:45 a.m. on Oct. 1
• 8100 Cambridge - about 8 a.m. on Oct. 16

In all three incidents, the female victims were home alone when they were confronted by the suspect. It is believed the suspect gained entry to two of the apartments through open doors.

The third apartment had no signs of forced entry.
