Fatal Shooting at 6116 Glenmont Drive

September 8, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6116 Glenmont Drive about 2 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 6).

The victim, Jesus Garcia Romero, 23, of the above address, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Dillingham and Senior Police Officer J. C. Bonaby III reported:

Witnesses heard a shot in the apartment complex and found Mr. Romero lying between two parked vehicles. Police and HFD personnel were then called to the scene.

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s) in the shooting.
