Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 4400 East Orem

September 8, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found in the 4400 block of East Orem about 7:30 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 6).

The victim, Victor Roy George, 25, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant D. A. Ferguson and Senior Police Officer T. S. Tyler reported:

Mr. George was found lying in the street at the dead end of the 4400 block of East Orem by an unknown witness who called 9-1-1.
