Investigation into Fatal Stabbing at 710 Pacific


December 13, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 710 Pacific about 11:30 p.m. last Friday (Dec. 10).

The victim, Aaron Michael Scheerhoorn, 28, of Houston, was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants E. Cisneros and W. Meeler reported:

The victim was seen running southbound in the 2500 block of Crocker with an unknown black male chasing him. The victim ran up to the entrance door of Club Blur located at 710 Pacific. There, he pleaded for help and said he had been stabbed. At that time, he fell to the ground in the parking lot and was stabbed multiple times by the male chasing him. The incident occurred in the presence of security personnel from the nightclub and several club patrons. The suspect then fled on foot eastbound on Pacific. The victim was transported to the hospital.

The suspect is described only as a black male wearing an orange turtleneck sweater and black pants.
